POWER OF VETO #13: Luck vs Skill



Welcome to your thirteenth Power of Veto competition of the season!

Tonight you will be racing to give me an example of a word that belongs to a specific category. The categories will be vague enough to contain many answers. For example, I may post “Name a one-word color” and you can answer with “red”. You will have sixty seconds to post in your confessional. I do not care if you duplicate answers as someone else accidentally. This challenge will be based on how fast you can think.

The order in which you answer will determine how many points you will receive.

• First to answer yields 3 points.
• Second to answer yields 2 points.
• Third to answer yields 1 point.
• Fourth to answer loses 1 point.
• Fifth to answer loses 2 points.
• Sixth to answer loses 3 points.

Failure to submit an answer within 1 minute will result in elimination from the challenge.

There is a catch though. Getting a score of 7 or 13 (or any multiples, such as 14, 21, 26, 28) means your luck has ran out and will also result in elimination from the challenge. It is also possible to have negative scores in this challenge, so negative multiples would also get you eliminated (-7, -13, etc).

The houseguest with the most points at the end of ten rounds will win the Golden Power of Veto!
