POWER OF VETO #15: Haiku Hijinks

Welcome to your fifteenth Power of Veto competition of the season!

Tonight you will be organizing various haikus in order to create a cohesive story. I will post eight haikus momentarily. Whenever you arrange them correctly, you will get a short story that actually makes sense. You can guess as many times as you need to. All eight haikus must be ordered in one post to count.

The first houseguest to correctly order the haikus here ON THIS THREAD will win the Golden Power of Veto!

She had some in her left hand,
And some in her right.

Before she can grab,
Half of them flew away, bye,
Now she just had four.

Then she did something.
She opened up her right hand
Goodbye red balloons!

Two balloons left, yep,
So she grabbed a needle and,
Well poke poke, none left.

Once upon a time,
There was a girl by herself,
Something in her hands.

So on the left side,
She had twice as much than, well,
The right hand total.

Crying ‘bout balloons,
The girl knew she messed up, so,
She said bye to two.

Then there were just eight.
She tried to use her right hand
To grab some balloons.
